YOUR GUIDES

Every good path needs someone who has walked it first. Here's who we are and how we make sure each step holds your weight.

Why This Path Exists

Most browser advice is either a vendor's marketing or a wall of settings with no order. We built Guidetalbrowserumble to fix that: one route, seven steps, and always a clear next move.

We write for motivated beginners: people who want to understand their tools, not just be told which button to press.

2

The Team

  • Imogen Hale — Lead Editor

Former technical writer for a software help desk. Turns complicated menus into simple sequences.

  • Tomasz Wierzbicki — Testing Lead

Runs our test machines on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, and checks every instruction step by step.

  • Priya Raman — Privacy Editor

Reviews every privacy and security claim against official documentation and independent research.

3

How We Work

We test on current stable releases, follow each instruction exactly as written and note the date. We cross-check claims against the browser makers' own release notes and help centres, and against sources such as the EFF and the WHATWG and W3C specifications.

Browsers change every few weeks, so we review each move at least once a quarter. If something is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.

4

Our Independence

We are not affiliated with any browser maker. We don't accept payment, free products or affiliate commissions in exchange for recommendations, and we carry no advertising. Guidetalbrowserumble is published by Guidetal Browse Rumble Ltd, a small company registered in England and Wales.
